The main advantage of new construction is that everything is new in the apartment and the building and there is no adaptation, demolition and unnecessary hassle with the masters.
In a new building you buy an almost fixed schedule. With new construction, it is much easier to predict the total cost of the investment.
Therefore, a drop in prices is not expected for new construction, due to high demand and low supply. Namely, the number of new projects is still much lower than in the period before the last crisis. Most projects of reputable developers are fully pre-sold or reserved before construction begins.
In the city of Split, an attractive Croatian summer tourist destination, the offer of apartments in new construction is much lower than the demand. It is safe to conclude that in this city quality new apartments in a good location are worth as much as dry gold.
