During the summer heat, many think of ways to cool down. If you have a larger yard, the idea of a pool is a great opportunity. The pool next to the villa on the sea makes a very attractive tourist ad. The swimming pool next to the accommodation has raised the capacity of many renters, but also extended the season. However, with all the advantages it brings, building a pool is not a small investment. Namely, for the construction of a pool of about 30 square meters, it is necessary to invest more than 60,000 kn, and that pool also needs to be filled with water and maintained. Anyone who decides to build a pool must first get acquainted with the construction variants offered on the market.
According to the method of construction, we divide them into burial and aboveground.
There are several types of pools:
Concrete
We need the most time to build a concrete pool, even up to a few months. Such a pool has several stages of construction, which require a certain amount of time (concreting, drying of concrete, etc.).
Polyester
They fall into the category of semi-prefabricated pools because they do not require any work on the pool structure itself, except for preparatory and final works on landscaping.
Foil pools
In the last 10 years, the most common interior lining is made of reinforced PVC foil, which is especially popular with smaller pools intended for rent.
Stainless steel pools are becoming more and more popular precisely because they are extremely durable.
Prefabricated
Prefabricated pools are a much cheaper option than concrete ones. Despite the external exoticism of prefabricated stationary frame pools, they are quite durable and quite capable of competing with conventional concrete tanks, especially since their installation takes less time and is easier to maintain. The main prerequisite for installation is a completely flat surface.
Inflatable pool
Inflatable pools vary in the degree of capacity: from 1 to 8 people. Children's inflatable pools are especially popular because they have different configurations and vivid colors.
Modern inflatable pools are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Two or three PVC films form blankets, where air is pumped - thus forming the walls of the pool. The bottom in some models is also inflatable.
Whatever the type of pool, it is necessary to periodically check the condition of the water and purify it.
Cleaning equipment: a circulating pump with a filter element and a skimmer that removes dirt particles from the water surface - it can only remove mechanical contaminants, but not biological ones. Various chlorine-based chemicals are commonly used to combat "water blooms."
In addition to enjoyment and recreation, the pool, if well blended into the surroundings, creates the perfect image and balance in the backyard, making the backyard more attractive than ever.
